Song Writing Workshop
Our songwriting workshop gives pupils the opportunity to create their own original songs, combining words, melody and harmony in a supportive and creative environment. Through guided activities, children explore lyric writing, melodic ideas and simple harmonic structures, working individually and collaboratively to shape musical ideas into finished songs.
Designed to support learning across the curriculum, the workshop develops musical skills alongside literacy, communication and creativity. Pupils build confidence as they share ideas, refine their work and perform together, gaining a deeper understanding of how music and language work hand in hand to express thoughts, stories and emotions.
