Music for Screen Composition Workshop

Our Music for Screen composition workshop introduces pupils to the art of creating music for film, TV and games. Through practical, hands-on activities, students explore how music supports storytelling, mood and character, learning how melody, harmony, rhythm and texture can be used to enhance visual media.

Using short film clips and guided composition tasks, pupils create their own screen music, developing skills in musical decision-making, listening and evaluation. The workshop supports the Music National Curriculum by encouraging creativity, collaboration and critical thinking, while giving pupils valuable insight into a real-world application of composition.
