Forage & Create: Instrument-Making Workshop
Our Forage & Create workshop invites children to explore sound, creativity and sustainability by making their own musical instruments using natural and found materials. Through guided activities, pupils forage, design and build simple instruments, discovering how different materials produce different sounds.
Designed for EYFS through Key Stage 2, the workshop encourages curiosity, problem-solving and imaginative thinking. Children experiment with pitch, texture and volume before playing their handmade instruments together, building confidence, teamwork and a deeper understanding of how music and sound are created.
